Homemade Wonton Soup Recipe

☆Ingredients:

1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound (450g) ground pork or shrimp
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, grated
2 green onions, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
24 square wonton wrappers
6 cups chicken broth
2 cups water
2 cups bok choy, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced

☆Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork or shrimp, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.
Place a small amount of filling (about 1 teaspoon) in the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it diagonally to create a triangle. Press the edges firmly to seal, ensuring there are no air pockets.
In a large pot, bring chicken broth and water to a simmer over medium heat.
Carefully drop the wontons into the simmering broth and cook for about 5 minutes, or until they float to the surface and are cooked through.
Add bok choy and mushrooms to the pot and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
Serve hot, garnished with additional chopped green onions if desired. Enjoy your delicious homemade wonton soup!
