Golden Crispy Chicken Tenders

Indulge in crispy perfection with our easy-to-follow recipe for homemade chicken strips. Coated in a flavorful blend of spices and breadcrumbs, these golden delights are fried to perfection, then baked for a healthier twist. Ingredients:

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 tsp garlic powder

1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs, beaten

1 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking oil for frying

 

Instructions:

Preparation: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

 

Coating: In a shallow dish, mix together flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Place beaten eggs in another shallow dish, and spread breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.

 

Dredging: Dredge each chicken strip in the flour mixture, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it evenly with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Frying: Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken strips in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.

 

Baking: Transfer the fried chicken strips to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

 

Serving: Serve the crispy chicken strips hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
