Lemon Garlic Herb-Crusted Salmon

Ingredients

 

4 salmon fillets

 

Zest of 1 lemon

 

3 cloves garlic, minced

 

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

 

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

 

2 tablespoons olive oil

 

Salt and pepper, to taste

 

Lemon wedges, for serving

 

Preparation

Preheat Oven:

 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare Salmon:

 

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

 

Make Herb-Crust Mixture:

In a small bowl, combine the lemon zest, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped dill, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a herb-crusted mixture.

Apply Herb-Crust:

Broil (Optional):

 

If you want an extra golden crust, you can broil the salmon for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.

Remove the salmon from the oven, and serve it hot. Squeeze fresh lemon wedges over the top for a burst of citrus flavor.
